In Jesus Christ we have been enriched in every way (Continued)

Eph 2:8, 9

⁸ For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— ⁹ not by works, so that no one can boast. ¹⁰ For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

2 Cor 12:9

⁹ But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Eph 1:13, 14

¹³ And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, ¹⁴ who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

Psalm 32:1, 2

¹ Blessed is the one
    whose transgressions are forgiven,
    whose sins are covered.

² Blessed is the one
    whose sin the Lord does not count against them
    and in whose spirit is no deceit.

I John 1:3

³ We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)  For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

2)  God’s grace is sufficient for us and in our weaknesses His power rest on us.

3)  We are marked in God through the Spirit, guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession

4)  We are blessed as our transgressions are forgiven and sins are covered

5)  We are blessed to have our fellowship with Father and His son Jesus Christ
