18 For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the
Lord commends.
Gal

10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human
beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please
people, I would not be a servant of Christ.

The 2:4
4 On the contrary, we speak as those approved by God
to be entrusted with the gospel. We are
not trying to please people but
God, who tests our hearts.

quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.

trying to please people but
God, who tests our hearts.

The unfading
