Children of God

Rom 8:14, 19

¹⁴ For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.

¹⁸ I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. ¹⁹ For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.

Hos 1:10

¹⁰ “Yet the Israelites will be like the sand on the seashore, which cannot be measured or counted. In the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ they will be called ‘children of the living God.’ 

Mal 3:17

¹⁷ “On the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty, “they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him.

Mt 5:9

⁹ Blessed are the peacemakers,
    for they will be called children of God.

John 1:12

¹² Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God

We learn the following from the above verses

1)  For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God

2)  Our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

3)  We will be called children of the living God and will blessed

4)  We are God’s treasured possession

5)   Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God

6)  To those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God
