Knowing
the true God will give us eternal life
John
17: 2, 3
After Jesus said this,
he looked toward heaven and
prayed:
“Father, the hour has
come. Glorify your Son, that
your Son may glorify you. 2 For you
granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3 Now this
is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
Gal
6:8
8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit,
from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
I
john 1:2
2 The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal
life, which was with the Father and has
appeared to us.

john 5:11, 13, 20
11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not
have the Son of God does not have life.
13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the
Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
20 We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by
being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
We
learn the following from the above verses
1) Knowing the
true God will give us eternal life
2) Jesus has authority
to give eternal life
3) Whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the
Spirit will reap eternal life
4) God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
5) Who believes in the name of the Son of God has eternal life.
