Turning from darkness to light(continued)

Eph 5:8

⁸ For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light ⁹ (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth)¹⁰ and find out what pleases the Lord.

Col 1:13

¹³ For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, ¹⁴ in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

1 Pet 2:9

⁹ But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 

We learn the following from the above verses

1)   We are now the children of the light

2)   For God rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into his kingdom

3)   God called us out of darkness into His wonderful light
