God qualified us to share in the inheritance of His holy people in the kingdom of light

Col 1:12 (God qualified us to share in the inheritance of His holy people in the kingdom of light)

We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, 10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, 12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.

Col 3:24(we will receive an inheritance as reward from the Lord)

23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Heb 9:15(Christ died for us as a ransom to set us free from the sins, so that we may receive the promised eternal inheritance)

15 For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance —now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

1 Pet 1:4(Christ in His great mercy gave us an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade through the resurrection)

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you

We learn the following from the above verses

1)   God qualified us to share in the inheritance of His holy people in the kingdom of light
2)   we will receive an inheritance as reward from the Lord
3)   Christ died for us as a ransom to set us free from the sins, so that we may receive the promised eternal inheritance
Christ in His great mercy gave us an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade through the resurrection
