Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins

Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins

Acts 2:38(Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins)
38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 9:18(When Saul was healed, he got up and baptized)
18 Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized, 19 and after taking some food, he regained his strength.

Acts 10:48(Peter at Cornelius’s House)

Then Peter said, 47 “Surely no one can stand in the way of their being baptized with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.” 48 So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days.

Acts 16: 15, 33(Lydia’s Conversion in Philippi)

15 When she and the members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home. “If you consider me a believer in the Lord,” she said, “come and stay at my house.” And she persuaded us.

Acts 19:5(Paul in Ephesus -- They were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus)

Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues[b] and prophesied.

Acts 22:16(Paul explains how he was baptized)
15 You will be his witness to all people of what you have seen and heard. 16 And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.’

Col 2:12( Having been buried with Jesus in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead)
11 In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self ruled by the flesh[b] was put off when you were circumcised by[c] Christ, 12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.
