Serve the Lord with fear and celebrate His rule with trembling

Psalm 2:10

¹⁰ Therefore, you kings, be wise;
    be warned, you rulers of the earth.

¹¹ Serve the Lord with fear
    and celebrate his rule with trembling.

Jer 9:4

⁴ “Beware of your friends;
    do not trust anyone in your clan.

For every one of them is a deceiver,^[c]
    and every friend a slanderer.

⁵ Friend deceives friend,
    and no one speaks the truth.

They have taught their tongues to lie;
    they weary themselves with sinning.

Hez 18:14

¹⁴ “But suppose this son has a son who sees all the sins his father commits, and though he sees them, he does not do and guard against such things:

We learn the following from the above verses

1)    Serve the Lord with fear and celebrate His rule with trembling

2)    Beware of your friends;
    do not trust anyone in your clan.

3)    Friend deceives friend,
    and no one speaks the truth.

4)    They have taught their tongues to lie;
    they weary themselves with sinning.

5)    Guard yourself against sins
