Forgiving others


forgiving others

Mark 11:25(when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them)
                25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

Mt 6:14(when others sin against us we should forgive them)
                14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Mt 18:21-35(How many times should we forgive others?)
                21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?”
 22 Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.[g]


Mk 11:25,26(we should forgive others so that the father in heaven also forgives us)
                 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

Eph 4:32(we should be kind and compassionate to one another)
                32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Col 3:13(we should bear with each other and forgive one another)
                13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

We learn the following from the above verses
1)       when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them
2)      when others sin against us we should forgive them
3)      How many times should we forgive others?
4)      we should forgive others so that the father in heaven also forgives us
5)      we should be kind and compassionate to one another
6)      we should bear with each other and forgive one another
