God is
powerful among us
2 Cor 13:3
3 since you are demanding proof that Christ is speaking through
me. He is not weak in dealing with you, but is
powerful among you.
Eph 3:19, 20
17 so
that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being
rooted and
established in love, 18 may have power,
together with all the Lord’s holy people, to
grasp how wide and long and high and deep is
the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love
that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to
the measure of all the fullness of God.
20 Now
to him who is able to
do immeasurably more than all we ask or
imagine, according to his power that
is at work within us
2 Tim 1:12
12 That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for
shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am
convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until
that day.
James 4:12
12 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But
you—who are you to judge your neighbor?
We learn the
following from the above verses
1) God is powerful among us
2) Know God’s
love that surpasses knowledge so that we may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
3) God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.
