Abraham did not waver through
unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave
glory to God, being fully persuaded that
God had power to do what he had promised.
Rom 4:21
18 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the
father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring
be.”[d] 19 without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his
body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that
Sarah’s womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise
of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,21 being fully persuaded that
God had power to do what he had promised.
Rom 11:23
22 Consider therefore the kindness and
sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided
that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. 23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted
in, for God is able to graft them in again.
Rom 14:4
4 Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To
their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is
able to make them stand.
Rom 15:14
Because of the grace God gave me 16 to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles. He gave me the priestly
duty of proclaiming the gospel of God, so that the Gentiles
might become an offering acceptable to God, sanctified by the Holy
Spirit.
2 Tim 1:12
12 That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for
shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am
convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until
that day.
We learn the following from the above verses
1) Abraham did not waver through unbelief regarding
the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave
glory to God, being fully persuaded that
God had power to do what he had promised.
2) If they (unbelievers) do not persist in unbelief, they will
be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.
3)
Lord
is able to make His servants stand
4) Lord gave the priestly duty of proclaiming the gospel of God, so that
the Gentiles might become an offering acceptable
to God, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
