we are God’s treasured possession

Psalm 135:4(we are God’s treasured possession)

                ⁴ For the LORD has chosen Jacob to be his own, 
   Israel to be his treasured possession.

Ex 19:5(If we fully obey God’s covenant then we will be God’s treasured possession)

                ⁵ Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine,

Deut 7:6(God has chosen us out of all the peoples on the face of earth to be His treasured possession)

                ⁶ For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.

Mal 3:17(God delivers us as we are His treasured possession)

                ¹⁷ “On the day when I act,” says the LORD Almighty, “they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him.

Tit 2:14(God has chosen us to be His very own by redeeming us from all the wickedness)

                ¹⁴ who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)      we are God’s treasured possession

2)      If we fully obey God’s covenant then we will be God’s treasured possession

3)      God has chosen us out of all the peoples on the face of earth to be His treasured possession

4)      God delivers us as we are His treasured possession

5)      God has chosen us to be His very own by redeeming us from all the wickedness
