Jesus did not reply, when false accusations were made against Him

Jesus did not reply, when false accusations were made against Him

Mark 14:61(Jesus did not reply when high priest asked him questions)
61 But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer.
Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?”

Isa 53:7(Jesus was oppressed and afflicted,
yet He did not open his mouth)
7 He was oppressed and afflicted,
   yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.

Mt 27:12, 14(When Jesus was accused by the chief priests and the elders, He gave no answer)
12 When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer.
14 But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge—to the great amazement of the governor.

Mk 15:5(Pilate was amazed as Jesus did not make any reply to the accusations of Chief Priests)
3 The chief priests accused him of many things. 4 So again Pilate asked him, “Aren’t you going to answer? See how many things they are accusing you of.”
5 But Jesus still made no reply, and Pilate was amazed.

Lk 23:9(Herod plied Jesus with many questions, but Jesus gave him no answer)
8 When Herod saw Jesus, he was greatly pleased, because for a long time he had been wanting to see him. From what he had heard about him, he hoped to see him perform a sign of some sort. 9 He plied him with many questions, but Jesus gave him no answer.

John 19:9(Jesus gave no answer to Pilate)
7 The Jewish leaders insisted, “We have a law, and according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the Son of God.”
8 When Pilate heard this, he was even more afraid, 9 and he went back inside the palace. “Where do you come from?” he asked Jesus, but Jesus gave him no answer.

We learn the following from the above verses

1) Jesus did not reply, when false accusations were made against Him
2) Jesus was oppressed and afflicted,
yet He did not open his mouth
3) When Jesus was accused by the chief priests and the elders, He gave no answer
4) Pilate was amazed as Jesus did not make any reply to the accusations of Chief Priests
5) Herod plied Jesus with many questions, but Jesus gave him no answer

7) Are we fighting the false accusations in our life? Or how do we handle false accusations?
