When our roots are withered, we will not bearing the fruit. -- If we live in Christ we will bear good fruit

When our roots are withered, we will not bearing the fruit. -- If we live in Christ we will bear good fruit

Hos 9:16

16 Ephraim is blighted,
    their root is withered,
    they yield no fruit.
Even if they bear children,
    I will slay their cherished offspring.”

17 My God will reject them
    because they have not obeyed him;
    they will be wanderers among the nations.

Hos 10:1

Israel was a spreading vine;
    he brought forth fruit for himself.
As his fruit increased,
    he built more altars;
as his land prospered,
    he adorned his sacred stones.

Hag 2:19

19 Is there yet any seed left in the barn? Until now, the vine and the fig tree, the pomegranate and the olive tree have not borne fruit.

“‘From this day on I will bless you.’”

Mt 3:10 Lk 3:9

10 The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.

Lk 13:9

6 Then he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it but did not find any. 7 So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, ‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’

8 “‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone for one more year, and I’ll dig around it and fertilize it. 9 If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’”

We learn the following from the above verses

1) When our roots are withered, we will not bearing the fruit. -- If we live in Christ we will bear good fruit

2) God will reject people if they did not obey Him.

3) We should be giving glory to God when we receive blessings in our lives.

4) When you live for Christ and ask for His blessings, God blesses you

5) Every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown in to fire.

6) God waits for us to repent and turn our ways to Him, so that we will bear good fruit.
