The Lord called Abraham when he was only one man and made him many

Isa 51:2

“Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness
    and who seek the Lord:
Look to the rock from which you were cut
    and to the quarry from which you were hewn;

look to Abraham, your father,
    and to Sarah, who gave you birth.
When I called him he was only one man,
    and I blessed him and made him many.

Isa 19:25

25 The Lord Almighty will bless them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance.

Pro 5:18

18 May your fountain be blessed,
    and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth.

Pro 22:9

The generous will themselves be blessed,
    for they share their food with the poor.


We learn the following from the above verses

1)    The Lord called Abraham when he was only one man and made him many

2)    The Lord Almighty will bless them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance.

3)    May your fountain be blessed,
    and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth.


4)    The generous will themselves be blessed,
    for they share their food with the poor.
