Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you that you may be children of your Father in heaven

Mt 5:44

⁴⁴ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, ⁴⁵ that you may be children of your Father in heaven.

Lk 6:28

²⁷ “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, ²⁸ bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

Rom 12:14

¹⁴ Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. ¹⁵ Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.

1 Pet 3:9

⁹ Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult.On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.

 We learn the following from the above verses

1)     Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you that you may be children of your Father in heaven

2)    Love your enemies; do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

3)    Bless those persecute you; bless and do not curse

4)    Repaying evil with blessing helps us inherit the blessing.
