God blessed us through Abraham

Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and announced the Gospel to Abraham that all nations will be blessed through him

 Gal 3:8
8 Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.”[d] 9 So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

Gen 12:3

3 I will bless those who bless you,
    and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
    will be blessed through you.

Gen 18:18

18 Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all nations on earth will be blessed through him.

19 For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him.”

Gen 22:18

Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, 18 and through your offspring[b] all nations on earth will be blessed,[c] because you have obeyed me.”

Gen 26:4

4 I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give them all these lands, and through your offspring[a] all nations on earth will be blessed,[b]5 because Abraham obeyed me and did everything I required of him, keeping my commands, my decrees and my instructions.”

Gal 3:6

6 So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”

Gen 15:6

6 Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

Rom 4:3

5 However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness. 6 David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the one to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:

7 “Blessed are those
    whose transgressions are forgiven,
    whose sins are covered.

8 Blessed is the one
whose sin the Lord will never count against them.

We learn the following from the above verses

We have been crucified with Christ and we no longer live, but Christ lives in us

Rom 8:10

10 But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life[d] because of righteousness.

1 Pet 4:2

Gal 2:19

19 “For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God.

Rom 6:10, 11, 14

8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.

9 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10 The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.
