If God is for us, who can be against us?

Rom 8:31

³¹ What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Ex 3:12

¹² And God said, “I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you^[b] will worship God on this mountain.”

Isa 41:10

¹⁰ So do not fear, for I am with you;
    do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
    I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Hag 1:13

¹³ Then Haggai, the Lord’s messenger, gave this message of the Lord to the people: “I am with you,” declares the Lord. 

Psalm 56:9

⁹ Then my enemies will turn back
    when I call for help.
    By this I will know that God is for me.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)   If God is for us, who can be against us?

2)   God Promised Moses that He will be with him, so that he can bring the people out of Egypt.

3)   God will be with us to set us free from every bondage

4)   Don’t be dismayed for God is with us, will strengthen us, will help us and will uphold us with His right hand

5)   Haggai declared God’s message that God is with His people

6)   When we call for help, God will hear us and fill our needs

¹⁸ And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate^[a] the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Php 3:21

²⁰ But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, ²¹ who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

1 John 3:2

² Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears,^[a] we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. ³ All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)  God predestined us to be conformed to the likeness of His son

2)  We will bear the image of the heavenly man

3)  We all are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

4)  Jesus Christ will transform our lowly bodies by the power that enables Him to bring everything under His control

5)  But we know that when Christ appears,^[a] we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

1 Th 2:12

¹¹ For you know that we dealt with each of you as a father deals with his own children,¹² encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.

2 Tim 1:9

⁹ He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, 

Heb 9:15

¹⁵ For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

1 Pet 2:9

⁹ But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 

2 Pet 1:10

¹⁰ Therefore, my brothers and sisters,^[a] make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, ¹¹ and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)  God calls us into His kingdom and glory

We should make every effort to confirm our calling and election to receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ

1 Cor 1:9

Rom 8:30

³⁰ And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

Rom 11:29

²⁹ for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.

Gal 1:15

¹⁵ But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased ¹⁶ to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, my immediate response was not to consult any human being.

Eph 4:1, 4

⁴ There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; ⁵ one Lord, one faith, one baptism; ⁶ one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)   God is faithful, who has called us into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

5)   We were called to one hope, when we were called

We know that in all things God works for good of those who love Him and called according to His purpose

Gen 50:20

²⁰ You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. ²¹ So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your children.” And he reassured them and spoke kindly to them.

Isa 38:17

¹⁷ Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish.
In your love you kept me from the pit of destruction;
you have put all my sins behind your back.

Jer 29:11

¹¹ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 

We learn the following from the above verses

1)  We know that in all things God works for good of those who love Him and called according to His purpose

2)  God changed the destructive plan of Joseph’s brothers to save many lives

3)  In God’s love, He kept us from the pit of destruction

4)  God has plans to prosper us
