Lord created the highest heavens and gave a decree that will never pass away

Psalm 148:6(Lord created the highest heavens and gave a decree that will never pass away)
            4 Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies.
 5 Let them praise the name of the LORD, for at his command they were created, 
6 and he established them forever and ever— he issued a decree that will never pass away.

Jeremiah 31:35-36(Lord almighty appointed the sun shine by day and decrees the moon and stars to shine by night)
             35 This is what the LORD says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, 
who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the LORD Almighty is his name: 
(We will not vanish from God’s sight)
36 “Only if these decrees vanish from my sight,” declares the LORD, “will Israel ever cease 
   being a nation before me.”

Job 38:33(God alone can create the laws of heavens)
            33 Do you know the laws of the heavens? Can you set up God’s dominion over the earth?

Lord created everything by his command

Psalm 148:5(Let all the creation praise His mighty name)
            5 Let them praise the name of the LORD, for at his command they were created,

Psalm 147:15(God’s word is powerful and His command is creative)
            15 He sends his command to the earth;  his word runs swiftly.

Job 37:12(God’s command can control everything)
            11 He loads the clouds with moisture; he scatters his lightning through them. 
12 At his direction they swirl around over the face of the whole earth to do whatever he commands them. 

Psalm 33:9(When God commands it stood firm, He spoke it came to be)
            9 For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.

We learn the following from the above verses

God has revealed His word to us


God has revealed His word to us

Psalm 147:19(God has revealed His word to us)
            19 He has revealed his word to Jacob, his laws and decrees to Israel.

Ex 20:1(God spoke His words as Ten Commandments for Israel)
            1 And God spoke all these words: 2 “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
 3 “You shall have no other gods before[a] me.

Rom 3:2(We are entrusted with the very words of God)
            2 Much in every way! First of all, the Jews have been entrusted with the very words of God.           



Deut 4:8(God made us great by giving us His righteous decrees and laws)
            8 And what other nation is so great as to have such righteous decrees and laws as this body of laws I am setting before you today?

Acts 7:38(Moses received the living words to pass on to us)
            38 He was in the assembly in the wilderness, with the angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our ancestors; and he received living words to pass on to us.

God grants peace to our borders

Psalm 147:14(God grants peace to our borders)
            14 He grants peace to your borders and satisfies you with the finest of wheat.

Lev 26:6(God will grant peace in the land and no one makes us afraid)
            6 “‘I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid. I will remove wild beasts from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country.



2 Sam 7:10(God will plant us and we no longer be disturbed)
            10 And I will provide a place for my people Israel and will plant them so that they can have a home of their own and no longer be disturbed. Wicked people will not oppress them anymore, as they did at the beginning

Isa 48:18(When we pay attention to His commands, our peace would have been like a river, our well-being like the waves of the sea)
            18 If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea.

Psalm 103:11(For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him)

God’s understanding has no limit

Psalm 147:5(God’s understanding has no limit)
            5 Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.

Psalm 145:3(God’s greatness no one can fathom)
            3 Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.

Isa 40:28(Lord is an everlasting God, He will not grow tired or weary and His understanding no one can fathom)
            28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

Rom 11:33(God’s wisdom and knowledge are unsearchable and His paths beyond tracing out)
            33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and[a] knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!

            9 He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.

God heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds

Psalm 147:3(God heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds)
            3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Psalm 34:18(The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit)
            18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Num 12:13(Moses cried out to God for the healing of Miriam)
            13 So Moses cried out to the LORD, “Please, God, heal her!”

Eze 34:16(God will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak)
            16 I will search for the lost and bring back the strays. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak, but the sleek and the strong I will destroy. I will shepherd the flock with justice.

Psalm 51:17(God will not despise a broken and contrite heart)
            17 My sacrifice, O God, is[a] a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart 
   you, God, will not despise.

Mt 11:29(We should learn from Jesus as He is gentle and humble in heart)
            29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

We learn the following from the above verses
