Devote yourself to prayer

they will walk and not be faint.

Husbands love your wives and do not be harsh with them

Husbands love your wives and do not be harsh with them

Col 3:19

19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.

Eph 5:25

25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her26 to make her holy, cleansing[b] her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

Eph 5:28

28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.

Eph 5:33

33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)    Husbands love your wives and do not be harsh with them.

2)    Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word

3)    Husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.

4)    Each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

Wives submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord

Wives submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord

Col 3:18

18 Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

Eph 5:22

22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.

1 Ti 2:12

12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man;[b] she must be quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve.

Tit 2:5

Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.

1 Pet 3:1, 5, 6

Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives.

For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to adorn themselves. They submitted themselves to their own husbands, like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her lord. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.

 1 The 2:13

As God’s chosen, Clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience

As God’s chosen, Clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience

Col 3:12, 10

12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old selfwith its practices 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.

Php 2:3

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

2 Cor 6:6

Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of God;

Gal 5:22, 23

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Eph 4:2

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
