Eph 6:10

¹⁰ Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

¹⁴ Wait for the Lord;
    be strong and take heart

⁴ But now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ declares the Lord. ‘Be strong, Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,’ declares the Lord, ‘and work. For I am with you,’ declares the Lord Almighty. 

⁵ ‘This is what I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt. And my Spirit remains among you. Do not fear.’

You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)  Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

2)  Be strong, and let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of our God. The Lord will do what is good in his sight.

Eph 6:4

⁴ Fathers,^[b] do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.

Gen 18:19

Deut 6:7

⁴ Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.^[a] 

⁵ Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 

⁶ These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 

⁷ Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

Pro 13:24

    but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them.

⁶ Start children off on the way they should go,
    and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)  We are to bring up our children in the training and instruction of the Lord.

2)  Directing our children and household to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right, would bring blessings.

3)   Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

4)  The one who loves their children is careful to discipline them.

5)  Start children off on the way they should go,
    and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

Ex 20:12

Job 1:21

    his praise will always be on my lips.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)  Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2)  When Job was in distress said

            “The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away;
              may the name of the Lord be praised.”

3)  We will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on our lips.

4)  And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

5)  Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise

Eph 5:19

¹⁸ Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, ¹⁹ speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord,

Psalm 27:6

⁶ Then my head will be exalted
    above the enemies who surround me;
at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy;
    I will sing and make music to the Lord.

    let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
² Let us come before him with thanksgiving
    and extol him with music and song.

Acts 16:25

²⁵ About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.
