Acts 20:32

³² “Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

Eph 1:14

¹³ And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, ¹⁴ who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

Mt 25:34

³⁴ “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. ³⁵ For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, ³⁶ I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

We learn the following from the above verses

1)  God’s word of grace will build us up and gives us inheritance among all those who are sanctified

2)  Christ in us is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession

3)  When son of man comes in His glory, He will give us inheritance

You may leave. When I find it convenient, I will send for you.”

We learn the following from the above verses

1)   we have our faith in our Lord Jesus

2)  Paul declared to Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus

3)  Felix listened to Paul as he spoke about faith in Christ Jesus

Acts 20:27 (Paul did not hesitate to proclaim the whole will of God)

 ²⁷ For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God. ²⁸ Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.

Psalm 40:10(We should speak of God’s faithfulness and saving help before great assembly)

⁹ I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly; 
    I do not seal my lips, Lord, as you know. 
¹⁰ I do not hide your righteousness in my heart;
    I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help.
I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness
    from the great assembly.

Jer 26:2(God wants us to proclaim His word so that people might repent)

² “This is what the Lord says: Stand in the courtyard of the Lord’s house and speak to all the people of the towns of Judah who come to worship in the house of the Lord. Tell them everything I command you; do not omit a word.³ Perhaps they will listen and each will turn from their evil ways. Then I will relent and not inflict on them the disaster I was planning because of the evil they have done.

Acts 20:10

⁹ Seated in a window was a young man named Eutychus, who was sinking into a deep sleep as Paul talked on and on. When he was sound asleep, he fell to the ground from the third story and was picked up dead. ¹⁰ Paul went down, threw himself on the young man and put his arms around him. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “He’s alive!” ¹¹ Then he went upstairs again and broke bread and ate. After talking until daylight, he left. ¹² The people took the young man home alive and were greatly comforted.

1 Ki 17:21(Elijah prayed for the son of Widow at Zarephath and brought him from the dead)

¹⁷ Some time later the son of the woman who owned the house became ill. He grew worse and worse, and finally stopped breathing. ¹⁸ She said to Elijah, “What do you have against me, man of God? Did you come to remind me of my sin and kill my son?”

¹⁹ “Give me your son,” Elijah replied. He took him from her arms, carried him to the upper room where he was staying, and laid him on his bed. ²⁰ Then he cried out to the Lord, “Lord my God, have you brought tragedy even on this widow I am staying with, by causing her son to die?” ²¹ Then he stretched himself out on the boy three times and cried out to the Lord, “Lord my God, let this boy’s life return to him!”

²² The Lord heard Elijah’s cry, and the boy’s life returned to him, and he lived.²³ Elijah picked up the child and carried him down from the room into the house. He gave him to his mother and said, “Look, your son is alive!”

2 Ki 4:34(Elisha prayed to the Lord and raised the son of the Shunammite from dead)

 ³² When Elisha reached the house, there was the boy lying dead on his couch.³³ He went in, shut the door on the two of them and prayed to the Lord. ³⁴ Then he got on the bed and lay on the boy, mouth to mouth, eyes to eyes, hands to hands. As he stretched himself out on him, the boy’s body grew warm. ³⁵ Elisha turned away and walked back and forth in the room and then got on the bed and stretched out on him once more. The boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes.

³⁶ Elisha summoned Gehazi and said, “Call the Shunammite.” And he did. When she came, he said, “Take your son.” ³⁷ She came in, fell at his feet and bowed to the ground. Then she took her son and went out.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)   God listens to our prayer and does wonders, healings and miracles

2)   Eutychus was raised from the dead, after he fell to the ground from the third story

3)   Elijah prayed for the son of Widow at Zarephath and brought him from the dead

²⁵ Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. ²⁶ When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.

²⁷ But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

Mt 28:20

¹⁹ Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

We learn the following from the above verses

1)   Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and said not to be afraid and Lord was with him

2)   When Jesus was walking on the water told His disciples not to be afraid.

3)   God is with us always to the very end of the age.
